The Senior Language Engineer role at Amazon's AGI Data Services organization focuses on developing complex, multimodal datasets to train and evaluate AI models. Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computational Linguistics or equivalent.
- PhD in Computational Linguistics or equivalent field with computational emphasis.
- 5+ years of experience creating AI datasets for complex and evolving requirements.
- 5+ years of experience working with speech, text, and multimodal data in multiple languages.
- 5+ years of experience defining and leading cross-team data creation strategies.
- 5+ years of experience with Machine Learning training and evaluations.
- Familiarity with technical concepts such as APIs and version control.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the organization's data creation strategies for science partners.
- Design and lead complex data collections with human participants.
- Analyze and extract insights from large amounts of data.
- Build tools or prototypes for data analysis or creation using Python or another scripting language.
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to evaluate AI model performance.
