The Senior SoC Modeling Engineer role at AWS involves developing and owning functional models for custom SoCs used in machine learning servers. The position is part of the ML accelerator modeling team, which focuses on creating high-quality models and tooling for internal customers. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to enhance model performance and innovate on customer tooling. Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
- 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
- Experience as a mentor or tech lead
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Develop and own SoC functional models end-to-end, including model architecture and integration.
- Work closely with architecture, RTL design, design verification, emulation, and software teams.
- Innovate on the tooling provided to customers to enhance usability.
- Drive performance improvements in model and modeling infrastructure.
- Develop maintainable, documented, and reusable software.
