The Software Development Engineer will work on an in-house distributed database system that supports AWS services. This role involves designing and developing innovative database technologies to meet the growing demands of AWS. The team values collaboration and mentorship, providing opportunities for engineers to grow their expertise. Candidates will engage with customers to understand their needs and contribute to the evolution of AWS technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.
- Experience with distributed database systems and familiarity with concepts such as ACID transactions and consensus protocols.
