As an Amazon Fleet Remediation Project Design Electrical Engineer, you will lead design projects in operational data centers, focusing on upgrading infrastructure and adding new services. You will provide lifecycle support from design through implementation, acting as a technical subject matter expert. The role emphasizes collaboration with various teams to ensure consistency and reliability in service delivery. Requirements
- 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities including data centers.
- 4+ years of commissioning experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer License.
- Experience with building codes and regulations for your region.
Responsibilities
- Own the design for existing data center upgrades and design solutions.
- Prepare and review short circuit coordination studies.
- Perform design and equipment submittal review for Data Centers.
- Interface with internal and external design engineering teams.
- Manage design and as-built drawings and documents.
- Prepare and present progress reports to relevant stakeholders.
