The Systems Development Engineer role at AWS focuses on working with internal and external customers to execute projects and resolve issues in a dev-ops environment. The team is responsible for building and delivering next-generation cloud computing security systems, including identity management and web services security. This position offers the opportunity to work with highly talented engineers and have a direct impact on large-scale systems. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be committed to continuous improvement in their work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems.
- Knowledge of networking, security, databases, and operating systems.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
- 1+ years of experience in development/programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, Bash, or Perl.
- Knowledge of engineering practices for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
Responsibilities
