Requirements
- 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience
- 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, or BIM 360
- Professional Engineering or Architectural License
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region
Responsibilities
- Produce clear and concise documentation including design specifications and reports
- Understand and implement the Global Electrical Basis of Design by standardizing data center electrical designs
- Develop strategic solutions that meet quality and budgetary requirements
- Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests
- Collaborate with regional vendors to specify appropriate electrical equipment
- Work on concurrent projects across multiple geographical regions
