Job description

AWS is seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer to support the design, deployment, and management of advanced robotic systems at scale. This role is part of the Robotics Products and Services team within AWS Infrastructure Services, which focuses on innovating data center operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and deploying robotic solutions while ensuring reliability and efficiency. This position involves collaboration with external partners and requires some travel to various AWS locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
  • Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers
  • Experience with vision language actuation models
  • Experience deploying robots into production
  • Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance
  • Knowledge of sensor data analytics and machine learning

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and deployment of advanced robotic systems at scale
  • Collaborate with external partners, contractors, and enterprise customers
  • Oversee operational teams and tools to ensure reliability and efficiency
