Job description
As a Software Engineer at Ring, you will be integral to developing the next generation of offerings for Small and Medium Businesses. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain front end and backend components
- Investigate design approaches, prototype technology and evaluate technical feasibility with team members
- Lead architecture and design of features from conception to launch
- Help improve engineering processes and tools to increase team effectiveness
- Participate in an agile development process to deliver high-quality software
