• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• High level of proficiency with C/C++ and Python
• Hands-on system experience with Linux, including device drivers and multicore systems
• Experience with embedded or real-time operating systems such as Free RTOS, RT Linux, or Micrium
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience developing safety certified systems, especially with IEC 61508
• Exposure to networking, communications systems, and data security

• Develop and maintain novel robotic systems
• Contribute to the architectural design of complex systems and collaborate with peers to find solutions
• Provide valuable feedback during peer reviews and communicate effectively with technical leadership
• Engineer solutions that balance performance and reliability
• Master various components including networking, security, navigation, and sensors
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and debug complex robotic systems
• Participate in design discussions and brainstorm novel approaches to robotics problems
• Write automated tests to validate new features and conduct live testing to debug issues
