This role is for a Software Development Engineer on a team focused on building scalable and secure AWS services for hands-on workshops. The team supports both internal and external customers by managing one of the largest fleets of AWS accounts. The position involves developing solutions that enhance the customer experience during events and workshops globally. Candidates should be passionate about problem-solving and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership over their work.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations.
- 3+ years of experience contributing to systems architecture and design.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
- 3+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant systems that ensure high availability using AWS services.
- Own the design and implementation of multi-tier distributed software systems.
- Estimate effort, plan implementation, and launch systems that meet performance and scalability requirements.
- Experiment and innovate to deliver high-quality software with low technical debt.
- Leverage GenAI to automate operational tasks and maintain documentation.
