The role is for cross-platform systems development engineers within the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization, focusing on building and automating systems for the WorkSpaces-fleet. The team aims to enhance customer experiences by providing intuitive technology solutions that address business challenges. Engineers will work with various AWS technologies and tools, contributing to the expansion of WorkSpaces into new regions and improving operational efficiency. Candidates should be eager to learn and innovate in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 1+ years of experience designing or architecting systems
- 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and operating systems
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Java, or C++
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Experience debugging and systems analysis
- 5+ years of experience managing end user computing services
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java
- Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum methodology
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation in an API-enabled environment
- Understanding of networking, security, and databases
- Experience with AWS technologies like Lambda, S3, and Redshift
- Good understanding of Active Directory and identity providers
