Job description
The CMMS Engineer will serve as a system master expert within the Amazon data center region, focusing on the design, development, and deployment of innovative solutions to operational challenges. This role involves working with multi-disciplinary teams to support local data center operations and ensure accurate asset management through the Hexagon EAM platform. The engineer will also drive global processes and documentation while maintaining mission-critical data accuracy. The position requires collaboration across various teams to uphold safety and security standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in a data center or other critical environment
- 3+ years of experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Experience in supporting procedures for production or mission-critical environments
- 3+ years of experience as a maintenance planner/scheduler in an industrial, maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution industry
- Experience in SQL or programming
- Experience in business intelligence and analytics
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain site asset data through Hexagon EAM
- Ensure asset details are captured to match the digital record
- Align and schedule maintenance within the CMMS application with corresponding teams
- Perform routine data scrubs and identify and correct anomalies
- Continuously look for ways to automate and enhance processes
- Plan and conduct training and workshop sessions for large audiences within the organization
