Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to contribute to the design, implementation, and manufacturing of next-generation industrial robotic systems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in system design and circuit design, along with strong communication skills. This role involves leading a technical team and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to execute product designs from concept to production. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of hardware engineering experience
• Experience with analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design
• 5+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems, and systems experience
• Experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech lead
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent is preferred
• Experience applying IEC 60204 and/or IEC 61508 machinery safety standards is preferred

• Work with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production
• Lead and support a technical team on multiple projects in parallel
• Coordinate all activities within the engineering discipline for the project
• Ensure effective coordination with other disciplines for each project
• Write and develop functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures
• Architect, design, and implement complex embedded systems and circuit designs
• Support product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments
• Establish development processes to meet industry standards for functionally safe control systems
