Requirements
- 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities such as data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities.
- 4+ years of commissioning experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities.
- Professional Engineer License.
- Experience with building codes and regulations for your region.
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, or BIM 360.
- Detailed understanding of uninterruptable power sources, diesel generators, electrical switchgear, power distribution units, variable frequency drives, and automatic/static transfer switches.
- Knowledge of electrical power monitoring systems.
Responsibilities
- Produce clear and concise documentation such as design specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Safeguard the implementation of the Global Electrical Basis of Design by driving standardization in electrical designs.
- Develop strategic solutions that meet quality and budgetary requirements.
- Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests during projects.
- Work with regional vendors to specify appropriate electrical equipment.
- Manage concurrent projects across multiple geographical regions.
