Job description

The Senior Software Engineer will be part of the Industry Solutions Delivery Engineering & Architecture Group, focusing on innovative solutions for complex customer engagements. This role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders to understand user requirements and design effective architectures. The engineer will lead coding efforts, ensuring high-quality code and implementing solutions while maintaining operational reliability. Continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies are integral to this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing scalable cloud services using Azure infrastructure or similar.
  • Technical knowledge of Azure cloud architecture and services.
  • Experience with containers and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements for solutions.
  • Lead discussions for product architecture and create proposals for design.
  • Independently create plans for testing and assuring quality of solutions.
  • Drive identification of dependencies and develop design documents.
  • Produce extensible and maintainable code while optimizing performance.
  • Maintain operations of live services and implement solutions for complex issues.
  • Drive efforts to integrate instrumentation for gathering telemetry data.
  • Build and enhance software developer tools to support other programs.
