This role involves working with the Relational Database Service (RDS) for PostgreSQL as part of the Database Engineering Team. The team focuses on building, improving, and managing PostgreSQL as a fully managed database service. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and customers to enhance the service and drive feature improvements. • At least 10 years of experience with PostgreSQL
• At least 5 years operating PostgreSQL systems
• Experience working with customers on how to best use PostgreSQL
• Experience in Postgres or a passion for delivering exceptional service

• Work closely with customers to understand their challenges and solve issues during critical escalations.
• Act as the 'voice of the customer' to bring learnings to the engineering process.
• Drive feature enhancements and permanently resolve the root causes of issues.
• Interact with the open-source community via forums, conferences, and code submissions.
• Design and code solutions to help drive efficiencies in software architecture.
