Job description

As a Customer Engineer in Google Public Sector, you will partner with technical sales teams to showcase the capabilities of Google Cloud to customers in the federal healthcare sector. Your role will involve developing creative cloud solutions and architectures to address business challenges, engaging in proofs-of-concept, and troubleshooting technical issues. You will leverage your expertise to communicate effectively with customers, ensuring they understand the value of Google Cloud. This position requires a passion for building relationships and a strong technical background in cloud technologies.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen to meet customer and compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
  • Experience engaging with technical stakeholders or executive leaders in the Federal government.
  • Experience migrating systems to the cloud and building custom Generative AI applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify business opportunities alongside the team, understanding key customer technical objections.
  • Apply Google Cloud expertise to support the technical relationship with customers.
  • Work directly with Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer environments.
  • Define integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure for Google Cloud solutions.
  • Design and deliver demonstrations for Federal Civilian agencies integrating UI/UX design with scalable cloud infrastructure.
