The Manufacturing Test Development Engineer at Google will be part of a team focused on developing custom silicon solutions for Google's products. This role involves enhancing and sustaining manufacturing test processes and collaborating with various engineering teams to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency. The engineer will ensure that manufacturing test processes are repeatable and controlled, contributing to the seamless operation of Google's infrastructure. The position is critical in driving innovations that support Google's AI and Infrastructure initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in test engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with coding in Python, Bash, and Shell scripting to generate product-specific test plans and executing test processes.
Responsibilities
- Apply Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) fundamentals and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
- Partner with the NPI team to define Design For Test (DFT) requirements and provide input to manufacturing test strategy.
- Design, build, optimize and deploy test platforms for Google compute server at global manufacturing partners.
- Analyze, troubleshoot and root cause manufacturing yield issues and data center field escapes.
- Collaborate with internal engineers and partner engineers to drive test improvement for efficiency and effectiveness.
