Job description
As a Network Engineer intern at Amazon, you will be part of a team responsible for deploying and automating network infrastructure across various services including Amazon Retail and AWS. This full-time internship requires a commitment of 40 hours per week for a maximum of 12 weeks. You will work closely with automation teams to define tools that enhance scalability and efficiency. Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Telecommunications, or a similar field.
- Graduation conferral date must be between October 2026 and December 2029.
- Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
- Experience in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Javascript.
- Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals such as BGP, OSPF, and other routing and switching technologies.
- Knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Responsibilities
- Create simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality.
- Create and update network standards to ensure compliance during deployment.
- Collaborate with internal customers on designs and solutions, bringing them from concept to production.
