Job description

The Software Development Engineer III role on the AWS Field Experience team focuses on designing and building scalable solutions to empower field teams. This position involves driving technical excellence and collaborating across teams to influence cloud strategy. The ideal candidate will bring industry best practices to solve complex business problems while mentoring less experienced engineers. The role emphasizes innovation and operational excellence in the Revenue Lifecycle and Private Pricing area.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • Experience as a mentor or tech lead in an engineering team
  • 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and testing
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Define technical strategies and roadmaps spanning multiple teams.
  • Lead process creation and improvement projects while mentoring less experienced members.
  • Design and architect cross-functional solutions for complex problems.
