Job description

The QA Engineer role at Amazon Key focuses on enhancing the delivery experience by ensuring product quality through rigorous testing. The team is composed of proactive and experienced quality assurance professionals who tackle challenging technical problems. The ideal candidate will work across software, hardware, and firmware to drive quality and efficiency in the testing lifecycle. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the development process and product quality.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
  • Experience in manual testing
  • Experience in automation testing
  • Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
  • Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
  • Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

Responsibilities

  • Create test plans and test cases
  • Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality
  • Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products
  • Find, isolate, document, regress and track bugs through resolution
  • Interpret and report testing results and advocate for quality in every phase of the development process
  • Work with software development engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and feature implementation
  • Collaborate across teams to enhance total product quality
