As a Data Center Project Engineer at AWS, you will be part of a diverse team focused on constructing innovative and energy-efficient data centers. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure high-quality delivery of construction projects. You will be responsible for communication and coordination among contractors and stakeholders, while also managing project documentation and tracking systems. • 3+ years of vendor management experience
• 4+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment experience
• 5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in construction or project management
• Electrical or mechanical Journeyman License
• Operating engineering license such as DC II, DC III, or equivalent

• Establish communication and coordination across a data center region’s general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain a tracking system for design changes, RFIs, and change orders.
• Request and review MOPs for proper detail, necessity, and risk.
• On-board new vendors for badging and orientation.
• Update project management software with milestone dates, correspondence, and documents.
• Monitor delivery of owner furnished material to site.
• Compile and store construction data from vendors.
• Manage various checklists including substantial completion checks, safety, and quality.
