• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's or Master's degree and 10+ years in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with robotics architectures like ROS or Orocos
• Experience with communication layers such as DDS, EtherCAT, or LCM
• Experience with test driven development in robotics software
• Experience programming in languages such as C/C++, Python, Java, or Perl
• Experience with Machine and Deep Learning toolkits such as MXNet, TensorFlow, Caffe, or PyTorch
• Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams
• Ph.D in Robotics with a focus on software frameworks and architectures
• Experience in ROS/ROS2

• Lead a team to design and implement a software framework for generalized dexterous mobile manipulation
• Design and integrate cloud and on-edge inferencing systems
• Evaluate and integrate low-latency communication middleware for real-time teleoperation
• Develop human-machine interfaces for fast no-code programming for end-users
• Design components for metrics and data aggregation
• Partner with cross-functional teams to rapidly create new concepts and prototypes
• Document the designs, performance, and validation of the software architecture
