The role is for a Software Development Engineer (SDE) at Amazon Web Services, focusing on building and managing complex distributed systems for cloud computing security. The AWS Secrets Management team is responsible for credential and secrets management across millions of hosts. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Responsibilities
- Design flexible and scalable solutions for complex challenges in large-scale computing
- Own systems end to end and influence technology direction
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and mentor new engineers
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Work on the development and delivery of cloud computing security systems
