Prime Video is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join the Amazon MGM Studios Technology team in Culver City, CA. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production and post-production partners by designing and maintaining critical infrastructure. The Systems Engineer will work on network, systems, and storage solutions while managing hybrid cloud network infrastructure. The position offers an opportunity to tackle complex technical challenges in a dynamic environment focused on entertainment technology.

• 5+ years of relevant hands-on systems engineering and administrative work in networking and storage systems.
• Experience in network fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies.
• Experience in systems administration for both Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as PowerShell, Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with virtualization technologies including VMware or Docker.
• Experience supporting media and entertainment workflows.

• Design, implement, and support network, systems, and storage solutions optimized for Studios workflows.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches for network equipment and server infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues in large-scale environments.
• Provide hands-on technical support at production facilities and respond promptly to alerts.
• Execute storage provisioning, data migration, and capacity management tasks.
• Collaborate with production teams and vendors to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Document system configurations and operational procedures for infrastructure.
