Job description

This role involves building the automation infrastructure that supports AWS's global expansion into new markets. As a Software Development Engineer on the SoR Requirement Fulfillment team, you will design and develop pipeline orchestration systems and entity management services. Your work will ensure the efficient launch of new Sellers of Record across multiple countries while maintaining billing accuracy and compliance. You will also lead projects and collaborate with various teams to enhance the overall system architecture.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
  • 1+ years of experience as a software development engineer or in a related role
  • 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, or distributed software applications
  • 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement production-quality distributed services for the SoR Fulfillment platform.
  • Develop and enhance the Entity Suite services that manage CP entities.
  • Build and maintain SoR Pipeline infrastructure for automated configuration deployments.
  • Lead large, multifaceted projects involving multiple engineers and cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in engineering design reviews and architecture discussions.
  • Resolve complex distributed systems and pipeline orchestration issues.
  • Build and integrate automated validation frameworks for testing and validation.
  • Develop and maintain tools that enforce automation standards through code analysis.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the SoR acceleration platform architecture.
