Amazon Web Services is seeking Software Development Engineers to develop advanced Linux-based networking platforms. The role involves working on embedded routing platforms that support one of the world's largest networks. You will join a diverse team of engineers and specialists focused on delivering high standards of safety and security while innovating in data center networking. This position offers the opportunity to tackle complex problems and contribute to the core functionality of networking devices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Develop state of the art Linux-based networking platforms
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the Kernel state and hardware state are synchronized
- Work on packet forwarding in networking devices
- Solve complex and impactful problems related to data center networking
- Contribute to the innovation of AWS's global network infrastructure
