Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the Conversational Ad Experiences team within Sponsored Products and Brands. This team focuses on developing innovative sponsored conversational experiences powered by large language models. The role involves driving product and engineering initiatives that impact millions of shoppers worldwide. The team is dedicated to re-imagining advertising through generative AI technologies and enhancing the shopping experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
- Experience as a mentor or tech lead in an engineering team
- Experience in areas such as ML compilers, GenAI model architecture, or neural network optimization
- 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Drive major product and engineering initiatives
- Build large-scale, low-latency distributed systems
- Develop ML infrastructure and LLM-based AI workflows
- Partner with the science team to implement LLM models in production
- Contribute to LLMOps
- Design, build, and operate customer-facing functionality impacting shoppers worldwide
