Job description

This role involves leading a team of networking developers focused on creating high-performance software for the Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) used in Machine Learning and High-Performance Computing on AWS. Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
  • 5+ years of professional experience programming in C
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of networking developers to write high-performing code in C for EFA projects.
  • Invent new APIs for advanced networking concepts in the cloud.
  • Analyze customer needs to innovate solutions that reduce software stack occupancy.
  • Drive acceptance of written designs among peers and leadership.
