Job description

The SAP Production Planning Manager role at EY focuses on leveraging SAP technology to enhance client operations within the manufacturing sector. As part of the Technical Consulting team, you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to drive improved outcomes and sustainable results. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in SAP Manufacturing and strong interpersonal skills to manage client relationships effectively. Regular travel is expected to meet client needs, with a commitment to delivering high-quality SAP projects.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree (4-year degree) is required.
  • Typically, no less than 4 - 6 years of relevant experience within the manufacturing business area is necessary.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4 HANA, particularly in the Production Planning (PP) module, is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills are required.
  • A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs, with travel estimated at 40-60%, is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workstream delivery and ensure effective management of processes and solutions.
  • Track deliverable completion and project status, ensuring alignment with performance objectives.
  • Actively participate in client working sessions, leading workstreams from planning through execution and closure.
  • Manage a hybrid team of offshore and onshore team members, ensuring timely project delivery and adherence to implementation schedules.
  • Provide exceptional client service by tracking project milestones, managing risks, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders regarding progress and results.
