Job description

Requirements

  • 3+ years of mechanical design experience using a variety of fabrication processes
  • 3+ years of consumer electronics design experience with complex products and multidisciplinary teams
  • A solid understanding of engineering fundamentals including heat transfer and mechanics of materials
  • Understanding of tight-tolerance fabrication and assembly techniques
  • Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
  • Strong proficiency in Siemens NX
  • Experience working with electrical engineers to layout and build custom PCBs/FPCs
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline

Responsibilities

  • Build prototypes for design validation and drive failure analysis
  • Implement and integrate iPhones at contract manufacturers within India
  • Deliver outstanding design solutions while balancing multiple priorities
