The Security Architect role at Apple involves working with a multi-functional engineering team to define, design, and verify security systems for groundbreaking products. The Security Architecture team aims to provide a robust security foundation for Apple's offerings by evaluating threats and architecting security solutions. Candidates will collaborate with software and silicon teams to ensure state-of-the-art security is integrated into both in-house and outsourced silicon chips. This position requires a strong background in both hardware and software security.
Requirements
- BS in EE/CE, Computer Science or related engineering degree.
- 20 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in definition of secure systems.
- Experience in threat modeling and weaknesses analysis.
- Experience with SoC architecture.
- MS or PhD in EE/CE, Computer Science or related engineering degree.
- Solid background of applied cryptography.
- Exposure to OS security.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of Verilog/VHDL.
- Experience in C/C++ and interpretive languages such as Perl/Python.
