Job description
The Silicon Validation team is seeking passionate individuals to validate the functional behavior of Apple's next generation SoCs. This role involves working with a diverse team of embedded software engineers to conduct system-level validation. Candidates will explore the SoC architecture and become specialists in the SiVal software stack. The focus is on developing creative testing strategies for various stress and corner-case scenarios.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 0 years of experience.
- Strong software skills in C/C++.
- Familiarity with programming in assembly language.
- Passionate about writing code close to the hardware and debugging.
- Familiarity with computer architecture, memory hierarchies, CPUs, and caching.
- Enjoy a detail-oriented, curious, and persistent validation mentality.
- Experience in writing code, developing tests, and strategies for SoC silicon validation is a huge plus.
- Experience in graphics, video codecs, video capture, display mechanisms, and storage technologies is ideal.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or Perl is a plus.
