The ECAD Workflow & Solutions Architect will be a strategic partner and technical expert for Apple's hardware design community. This role focuses on architecting, optimizing, and advancing workflows for electrical design teams. The position requires a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn and solve challenging problems with innovative solutions. The team aims to drive efficiency and innovation in hardware design at Apple, leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in ECAD design or a related hardware engineering field
- Expertise with industry-standard ECAD tools such as Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, Mentor Graphics Xpedition, and Altium Designer
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic abilities
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience as a solutions architect, workflow consultant, or technical lead in an ECAD-focused role
- Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems and version control such as Git
- Understanding of cloud computing principles and their application in engineering environments
