Job description
The Technical Program Manager will join the Apple Information Security PMO team to lead high-impact security initiatives across the company. This role requires a self-starter who is passionate about achieving results in a collaborative environment. The manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of large-scale security programs and ensuring alignment with AIS strategy. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in leading large-scale technology programs.
- Expertise in managing the entire lifecycle of a program, from planning to execution.
- Experience in a matrix environment working with engineering managers and multi-functional teams.
- Proven experience with tools like Jira, Wrike, or equivalent for managing complex efforts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead through ambiguity.
- Familiarity with information security domains and knowledge of security fundamentals.
- Knowledge of security architecture and secure design principles.
- Experience handling data engineering programs related to Data Pipelines.
- CISSP and related security certifications.
- Agile certification is a plus.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience with Apple tools such as Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of large-scale security programs by bringing teams together.
- Define and drive multiple tracks of work to achieve program goals.
- Handle dependencies and risks while communicating status to partners.
- Ensure program objectives are aligned with AIS strategy.
- Implement mechanisms to measure the success of program outcomes.
- Negotiate and assemble plans while securing commitments on work.
- Coordinate dependencies and resolve blocking issues.
