Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Ability to travel up to 15-20% max throughout the year.
- Experience designing mechanical components for high volume manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High degree of motivation, curiosity, passion, and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to execute the product vision.
- Develop deep technical knowledge in areas outside your expertise to understand design constraints.
- Collaborate with outside vendors and internal manufacturing experts to optimize designs.
- Utilize 2D and 3D CAD to communicate design intent and inspection requirements.
- Ensure fit, form, and function throughout the product life cycle through various analyses and testing.
