Job description

The Apple Service Engineering team is looking for an experienced incident manager/analyst to tackle complex problems related to data and analytics products. This role involves collaborating with data engineers, data scientists, and project managers to enhance customer experience and improve product quality. The ideal candidate will dive deep into data quality issues, uncover trends, and facilitate discussions to resolve technical challenges. The position emphasizes collaboration, mentoring, and continuous learning within a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in an analytics or data engineering role
  • Strong problem-solving skills in complex technical data and analytics products
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Background in data analytics, proficient in SQL or Python Pandas
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or GGplot
  • Fundamental understanding of statistical analysis, forecasting, and modeling
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in a quantitative field
  • Experience in coding for automation using languages like Scala or Java
  • Familiarity with writing data pipelines using big data technologies
  • Familiarity with modern cloud technologies such as Kubernetes

Responsibilities

  • Partner with data engineers, data scientists, and project managers to conduct mitigation efforts
