Job description

The Operations Test Engineering team at Apple is looking for a skilled individual to focus on manufacturing test solutions. This role involves collaboration with Hardware, Operations, and Business teams to develop and implement testing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in optics or semiconductor test station design. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting new technologies and contribute to Apple's innovative products.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of work experience in optics or semiconductor test station design, metrology development, automation test, and/or assembly equipment.
  • B.S. or M.S/PhD in Engineering, Optics, Physics, Semiconductor, Imaging Science, or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as hardware design, system teams, capital equipment, quality, and process engineering.
  • Knowledge of tester qualification requirements including calibration, correlation, capability, repeatability and reproducibility, design of experiments, and failure analysis.
  • Understanding of development builds and mass production planning with factories worldwide.
  • Effective communication skills in a worldwide environment.
  • Knowledge of Acoustic technologies preferred.
