The AVKit Engineering team at Apple is seeking a Senior Engineer to design and build media playback UI across various Apple products. This role involves implementing media application frameworks that support playback and editing of audiovisual media. Requirements
- 5+ years of programming experience, preferably in Objective-C and Swift
- Deep knowledge of Operating System design and concepts
- Proficiency in developing with Cocoa or other application frameworks
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to explain advanced concepts clearly
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features and UI APIs for media playback
- Collaborate closely with other engineering and design teams
- Triage and resolve complex bugs in the media playback systems
- Optimize performance issues across OS software layers
- Contribute to the development of innovative media playback experiences
