Job description

Join the WTE Wi-Fi Quality team to drive innovation and deliver seamless wireless connectivity and an exceptional user experience. This dynamic quality assurance team focuses on validating Wi-Fi and other wireless technologies features on iOS and various products. Ideal candidates are motivated, technical, and passionate about networking technologies. You will work collaboratively across teams to ensure the best connectivity experience for customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in 802.11 protocols and/or Bluetooth.
  • 3-5 years of experience in SQA methodologies and practices.
  • Experience with scripting and automation, preferably in Python.
  • Experience utilizing tools such as Wireless and Bluetooth packet sniffers and network protocol analyzers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional and performance validation of Wi-Fi and other wireless technologies features.
  • Deliver a detailed connectivity user experience across exciting product lines.
  • Develop and execute test strategies using automation or manual testing.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to meet shared objectives.
  • Provide debugging information to engineering teams to resolve issues.
