Job description

Join the WTE Wi-Fi Quality team to drive innovation and deliver seamless wireless connectivity for Apple devices. This dynamic quality assurance team focuses on functional and performance validation of Wi-Fi and other wireless technologies on iOS and various products. The role requires a highly technical individual with a passion for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and networking technologies. You will work collaboratively to enhance user experience and ensure high-quality connectivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in 802.11 protocols and/or Bluetooth.
  • 3-5 years of experience in SQA methodologies and practices.
  • Experience developing test strategies and executing them with automation or manual testing.
  • Experience with scripting and automation, preferably in Python.
  • Experience utilizing tools such as Wireless and Bluetooth packet sniffers and network protocol analyzers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional and performance validation of Wi-Fi and other wireless technologies.
  • Deliver a detailed connectivity user experience across various product lines.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to meet shared objectives.
  • Provide debugging information to engineering teams based on analysis of connectivity issues.
  • Maintain a laser focus on the smallest details that are meaningful to customers.
