Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated high level of creativity and intellectual curiosity in materials science and electronics packaging.

  • Proven ability to self-manage projects and deliver impactful results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.
  • Familiarity with advanced soldering methods and PCBA material selection considerations.
  • Knowledge of PCB Fabrication and First-Level Interconnect Si Packaging processes.
  • Experience with common PCBA inspection and test techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and proficiency with statistical process control and data analysis software.
  • Ability to leverage programming and scripting for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Product Design, Electrical Engineering, and other teams to develop PCBA designs.
  • Optimize holistic PCBA and process design while balancing various considerations.
  • Conduct advanced tolerance analysis for PCBA, fixture, and equipment design.
  • Apply advanced simulation tools to predict and mitigate manufacturing risks.
  • Plan for strategic high-volume manufacturing and analyze capital expenditures.
  • Lead root cause and failure analysis investigations using advanced analytical techniques.
  • Utilize internal LLM based tools for automating workflows in design and manufacturing.
