Job description
The AMS Lab Operation Engineer is responsible for the development and support of systems within the AMS production lab, focusing on continuous testing and validation. This role requires methodical engineers who can perform hands-on work with electrical systems and lab instrumentation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure operational continuity and address issues impacting schedules or output. The position operates under the technical direction of senior engineers and adheres to established engineering and safety processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- 2 years of relevant experience in a production engineering environment.
- Hands-on experience with electromechanical systems, fixtures, or tooling.
- Experience working with electrical test and measurement equipment.
- Basic understanding of networked equipment or TCP/IP concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, or technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support systems operating within the AMS production lab.
- Ensure continuous testing, validations, and debugging of systems.
- Analyze system behavior and support issue diagnosis.
- Assist in restoring stable operation in coordination with engineering processes.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to support operational continuity.
- Perform hands-on work with test infrastructure and lab instrumentation.
