Job description
In this role, you will be part of the Analog & Mixed-Signal (AMS) team at Apple, focusing on designing and delivering hard IPs for Apple's products. The position requires a forward-thinking analog/mixed-signal engineer with expertise in various circuit types such as SERDES, high-speed data converters, and PLLs. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams to architect innovative circuits and drive the mask design process. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal engineering
- In-depth knowledge of analog mixed-signal concepts such as mismatch mitigation and low-noise techniques
- Experience with high-speed digital circuits like serializers and counters
- Design experience in advanced CMOS technologies such as FinFET
- Hands-on experience with AMS IC development from definition to high-volume production
- Experience in lab testing of mixed-signal circuits using various testing equipment
- Ability to build VerilogA/AMS behavioral models
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of analog and mixed-signal circuits including SERDES and high-speed data converters.
- Work with multi-functional teams to architect and design innovative analog/mixed-signal circuits.
- Drive mask design to implement layout views of designs.
- Coordinate with IP consumers to define production and bench-level test plans.
- Conduct design reviews with peers and management to ensure designs meet specifications.
- Analyze and lead characterization data from lab and volume testing.
