As a Hardware System Integrator at Apple, you will leverage your engineering expertise to collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of innovative consumer electronics. Your role will involve solving complex engineering challenges, selecting components, and designing schematics to bring products from concept to mass production. You will have access to advanced test equipment to characterize circuits and define test criteria for prototypes. This position also requires occasional travel to work with manufacturing partners to ensure product success.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience designing consumer electronics and/or embedded systems
• Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals including analog/digital design and signal/power integrity
• Hands-on experience in prototyping, bring-up, debug, and validation
• Familiarity with leading SiP & PCB technology and design for manufacturing and assembly processes
• Experience with schematic capture and electrical design for PCIe, USB, Display Port, MIPI, and I2C/SPI/UART buses
• Knowledge in areas such as CPU/SOC, power management, analog circuits, and sensor design
• Expertise in board CAD tools including Cadence Concept and Allegro
• Strong social skills across organizations and at the executive level
• Excellent written skills for clear reporting of data analysis and conclusions

• Collaborate with various teams to define exciting product features

• Direct layout and bring up/debug circuits in the lab
