Job description
The Engineering Program Manager (EPM) role at Apple focuses on executing cross-functional projects within the Wallet and Payments PMO for the Cash Program. Requirements
- 3+ years of Technical Project and/or Program Management experience.
- Experience working on cross-functional projects and managing dependencies between internal and external teams.
- Experience supporting technical programs through the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with the SDLC of a customer-facing product, particularly in the data, analytics, payments, and/or financial technology space.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance risks and benefits.
- Clear and effective presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to actively participate in technical design brainstorming sessions.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced PMO environment.
- Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with cross-functional internal organizations.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with modern project management tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects and support the roadmap execution for the Cash program.
- Partner directly with teams across the Engineering organization and cross-functional groups.
- Drive the scoping, planning, execution, and launch of key initiatives.
- Ensure teams stay aligned and projects are delivered on time.
- Track execution, identify and escalate risks, and facilitate delivery processes.
- Translate technical concepts into actionable project plans.
- Navigate an environment of ambiguity and guide project teams toward successful delivery.
