Job description

The App Store Analytics & Data Engineering team is seeking an experienced architect or leading engineer to innovate privacy-preserving measurement technologies. This role focuses on designing and implementing core mechanisms that support marketing measurement while ensuring user privacy. The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of system architecture, privacy engineering, and the advertising ecosystem. They will contribute to shaping measurement frameworks that evolve at a global scale.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Deep expertise in distributed systems and data warehousing concepts such as Java, Python, Spark, Trino, Hadoop, Cassandra, Kafka, and Snowflake
  • Strong SQL, data analysis and visualization skills
  • Hands-on knowledge of the advertising technology ecosystem, including attribution, measurement, and optimization methodologies
  • Experience designing or deploying privacy-enhancing technologies such as differential privacy, federated learning, or secure multi-party computation
  • Understanding of privacy related regulations and policies such as GDPR and CCPA

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead the implementation of core mechanisms for marketing measurement in a privacy-preserving environment
  • Define and drive long-term technical strategy influencing product direction and engineering roadmaps
  • Lead the design and delivery of complex, high-impact data or measurement platforms at a global scale
  • Communicate a compelling product vision and insights effectively to stakeholders
  • Shape how measurement frameworks evolve at a global scale
  • Participate in industry standards committees focused on privacy or advertising measurement
