Join the Connectivity, Cell and Satellite QA team to drive innovation in cellular technologies and enhance user experiences. This role requires a highly motivated individual who will work closely with development engineers to ensure software quality. You will create test plans, report bugs, and identify automation opportunities while maintaining AI-based automation frameworks. The team is dedicated to qualifying cellular features on Apple's innovative devices and delivering high-quality releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a Software QA Engineering role.
- Proficiency in manual/UI testing and a willingness to engage in both.
- Deep understanding of SQA methodologies and practices.
- Experience testing mobile devices and cellular technologies.
- Automation experience with high-level knowledge of modern scripting or compiled languages such as Python and Swift.
- Proficient in Swift testing and/or XCTest frameworks.
- Ability to investigate problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose resolutions.
- Demonstrated ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Take an active role in shaping the quality of software.
- Create test plans and report bugs while triaging issues.
- Identify automation opportunities and work on developing and maintaining AI-based automation frameworks.
- Support design reviews and collaborate with multi-functional teams to reduce duplication.
- Help identify holes in coverage and resist regressions to ensure high-quality releases.
