Job description
The Touch Technology team at Apple focuses on developing innovative touch solutions that enhance user experience across various products like iPhones and iPads. Requirements
- Strong electrical engineering background in analog/mixed-signal testing methodologies.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Multi-disciplinary understanding of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and physics principles.
- High proficiency in software and algorithm prototyping/analysis using scripting languages like Matlab or Python.
- Experience in hardware prototyping and design of experiments.
- Proficient in data visualization and statistical analysis tools such as Tableau, SpotFire, JMP, or similar.
- Excellent project management, written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategies and solutions to meet touch performance standards.
- Execute validation and characterization methodologies for touch solutions.
- Own validation and test efforts on products from proof-of-concept to mass production.
- Break down existing algorithms to enhance understanding and improve performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in touch technologies.
