The Apple Accessories Hardware Engineering team is seeking a talented electrical engineer to lead system design and architecture for future Apple products. This role involves collaborating with various product teams, including iPhone, Mac, and Vision Pro, to guide the roadmap and lead initial phases of system development. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the design process, from silicon and system architecture to prototyping and manufacturing. This position offers the opportunity to drive engineering excellence and innovation across the full product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Outstanding fundamentals in electrical engineering.
- Deep knowledge of analog and digital electrical circuits including silicon.
- Experience with product concept development and system architecture.
- Experience with digital hardware design such as micro-controllers and digital interfaces.
- Master's or PhD degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience is a plus.
- Experience in detailed electrical engineering design, schematics entry, and layout.
- Experience with custom silicon development.
- Familiarity with I2C, SPI, SPMI, MIPI, etc.
- Direct experience with high-volume consumer products, manufacturing processes, and mass production.
